Waxwing Ladylike - Gone, but not forgotten.
Lady was bought as a 4 year old from Tom and David at Waxwing Stud. She was a successful LR/FR pony with qualifications including the P(UK) Lobster Pot LR Final and she brought much joy to her tiny jockey’s. Lady went on the breed two foals, one filly Merieston Lady Luck and one colt Merieston Testarossa. Lady Luck is now with a new family and competing in-hand, LR, FR and jumping whilst Testarossa, who is still with us, should make a fantastic SHP/LR/FR.

Templdruid Mogul
We had the pleasure of having this Section C stallion on loan from Roger Barrat of the Templdruid Stud for 4 years. Mogul has an excellent temperement, extravagent movement and the ability to jump. We had lots of fun with him both at home and in the show ring.

Some of our ponies sired by Mogul (from left to right) Merieston Maserati (colt, 2005), Merieston Mini Minx (filly, 2005), Merieston Mercury (colt 2006) and Merieston Brindissi (filly 2007).
Redpools Gershwin
George was our first purchase from Mary Guy of the Redpools Stud. He has had a successful ridden career including qualifications for NPS Picton Novice Final, Welsh National Championships and NPS Scotland Finals. He has also competed dressage and WHP and has now gone on loan to do even more at Fergushill.
Mynach Flute
Flute was purchased from Miss Gethin as a foal with a view to becoming a ridden pony. He was broken and shown at 5 years old and took qualifications for the NPS Picton Novice Ridden and NPS Scotland Novice Ridden Finals on his second outing. After much success he was sold to Lady Fergusson and is now competing in pony club activities with Flora. The photographs below are courtesy of The Event Photographer.

Mynach Moonstruck
Toby was our very first Welsh Section B. Purchased as a 3 year old from his breeder he spent many very happy years with us. He was a much loved character and a great friend. He was successful in the show ring, qualifying for many championships across the country and had a special talent for jumping. Toby and Jacqui (his jockey) grew up together and had so much fun galloping across the fields in summer! He is missed very much.
